About Us

Fabric Menagerie is located in downtown Mount Airy, NC, also known as "Mayberry".  Our store has served this community since the 1970's and offers a nostalgic fabric store experience. You never know what you might find in our variety of fabrics, lace, upholstery, notions, panels, handmade goods and more. Fabric Menagerie is owned by Edith Thomas who just turned 94 and enjoys working most everyday.
